Fendt Favorit 3

In October 1963 the Fendt Favorit 3 was showed to the public. It was the first Fendt-tractor with a four cilinder 52 HP engine. It belonged to the strong tractor of Fendt tractors program. The list price started at DM 19,240. The 1964 Favorit 3 was also offered as a four-wheel tractor.

Fendt was founded by Xaver Fendt in 1937. Fendt is a manufacturer of agricultural tractors and machines who originate in Marktoberdorf in the Allgäu Germany. In 1997, the Fendt brand and the factory was sold to the Agco Corporation, one of the world's largest manufacturers of tractors and agricultural machinery. Fendt is a premium brand of Agco Corporation and tractors are still use the name Fendt and they still produced in Marktoberdorf. Experts consider the Fendt factory in Marktoberdorf to be one of the most modern manufacturing facilities in the tractor industry.
