Fendt Grasmäher
Real German Craftmanship, the Fendt Grasmäher. It is also the first Fendt tractor ever constructed, and it was then only built by the 17-year-old Hermann Fendt on suggestion of his father, Johann Georg Fendt.
The tractor was driven by a one cylinder 4 hp petrol engine with evaporation cooling (Verdampfungskühlung). The rear driving axle came from a commercial grass mower. However, it was rebuilt, it was nothing more than a stationary engine with a simple gearbox and wheels. The driver could steer both driving wheels, as they where connected with a differential lock, interconnected rigid clutch.
